In addition to olive cultivation which is predominant in the north of the West Bank, Deir Ghazala village is also famous for the cultivation of carob and grapes. It contains perennial trees more than two hundred years old, dating back to the Ottoman era. There are also many grape and carob presses dating back to the Byzantine era, the third and fourth centuries AD. About ten presses (in Arabic Madabes) were used to produce the finest wines in the region due to the excellent quality of the grapes grown in these lands. Some of these historical presses can still be seen in the village today.

تشتهر قرية دير غزالة الى جانب شجرة الزيتون بزراعة الخروب و العنب إذ يوجد فيها أشجار معمرة منذ الدولة العثمانية أي أكثر من 200 سنة. كما يوجد فيها العديد من معاصر العنب و الخروب القدسمة و التي تعود الى القرن الثالث و الرابع ميلاديا- العصر البيزنطي، جزء منها موجود لغاية اليوم، ما يقارب 10 مدابس وكانت تستخدم لصنع أجود أنواع النبيذ لامتياز جودة العنب المزروع في أراضيها.
