The beautiful village of Arbuna, steadfast like the blessed olive tree in the far north of the West Bank and among the villages located on the line just next to the separation wall where many of its lands were confiscated. The village of Arbouna is 7 km from the city of Jenin. It is bordered to the north by Al-Mazar, to the west by Sandala, Jalameh and Arana, to the south by Deir Ghazzala, and to the east by Faqqua’a. There are about 1,500 people who work in agriculture and cultivation using modern machines to increase efficiency and production.

Arbona is characterized by the cultivation of “The hanging pumpkins” as a main product along with many other vegetables. Its fertile mountainous land, which constitutes 30-40% of the land area, is filled with olive and carob trees, where the carob jab is manufactured in a distinctive and natural way and of very high quality.

Despite the confiscation of many of its lands and the ongoing political challenges, its brave people had a great role in the Palestinian revolutions, especially the battle of Ain Jalut.

في أقصى شمال الضفة الغربية و من القرى الواقعة على خط الجدار الفصل العنصري و التي تم مصادرة العديد من أراضيها، هي قرية عربونة الجميلة الصامدة كشجرة الزيتون المباركة. تبعد قرية عربونة 7 كم عن مدينة جنين و يحدها من الشمال المزار ومن الغرب صندلة والجلمة وعرانة ومن الجنوب دير غزالة ومن الشرق فقوعة. فيها حوالي1500 نسمة يعملون و يكدون في الزراعة مستخدمين آلات حديثة لزيادة الفعالية والإنتاج رغم مصادرة العديد من أراضيها و التحديات السياسية المستمرة.

تتميز عربونة بزراعة اليقطين المعلق كمنتج رءيسي الى جانب العديد من الخضروات الأخرى. فأرضها الجبلية الخصبة التي تشكل 30-40 % من مساحة الاراضي تملؤها أشجار الزيتون والخروب، حيث يتم تصنيع رب الخروب بطريقة مميزة وطبيعية وذات جودة عالية جدا. كان لأهلها الشجعان دور كبير في الثورات الفلسطينية وخاصة معركة عين جالوت.
