Beit Qad Agricultural Station is one of the largest agricultural stations at the national level. It plays an active role in developing and modernizing the agricultural sector in Palestine. It is part of the National Center for Agricultural Research, so the Ministry of Agriculture takes care of these stations and places them among its priorities. This station was established in order to achieve several goals, including increasing the productivity of field crops and fodder, improving the productivity and efficiency of sheep and goats, developing the knowledge of Palestinian manpower working in the fields of ecological agriculture and conducting applied research.
The station also evaluates the improved varieties and strains of wheat, barley and chickpeas and makes them have high productivity and good quality specifications, identifies appropriate agricultural technologies and sells them locally. Also, it improves the productivity and  efficiency of Awassi and Asafi sheep, and Shami and Baladi goats, and implements specialized training courses in the fields of plant and animal production. Currently, horse races are being organized on the lands of the station.

محطة بيت قاد الزراعية هي إحدى أكبر المحطات الزراعية على مستوى الوطن والتي تلعب دورا فاعلا في تطوير وتحديث القطاع الزراعي في الأراضي الفلسطينية. هي جزء من المركز الوطني للبحوث الزراعية لذا تهتم وزارة الزراعة بهذه المحطات ووضعها ضمن سلم أولوياتها. تم انشاء هذه المحطة من أجل تحقيق عدة أهداف منها زيادة انتاجية المحاصيل الحقلية والأعلاف وتحسين الكفاءة الانتاجية والتناسلية للاغنام والماعز وتطوير معارف القوى البشرية الفلسطينية العاملة في مجالات الزراعة البيئية وإجراء البحوث التطبيقية.
 كما تقوم المحطة بتقييم الأصناف والسلالات المحسنة من القمح والشعير والحمص و جعلها ذات انتاجية عالية ومواصفات نوعية جيدة وتحديد التقانات الزراعية الملائمة ونشرها محليا و تحسين الكفاءة الإنتاجية والتناسلية للاغنام العواسي والعسافي والماعز الشامي والبلدي و تنفيذ دورات تدريبية تخصصية في مجالات الإنتاج النباتي والحيواني , كما يتم حاليا تنظيم سباقات الخيول داخل أراضي المحطة.
