The green fruit with the sweet taste is characterized by being 100% natural. Its quality rivals the finest international companies. It is a desert plant that grows in a mountainous area, featured by its soft thorns, and the grain of it is called a cob- Cactus of Faqua’a.
Cactus is important to the village, as the cultivation of the Faqua’a Cactus became famous locally and regionally. The quality of this cactus has become a trademark in the name of “Faqua’i ya Saber.” The high demand for this fruit, caused its cultivation to move from a mere goal to protect the land to an economical goal. Today it is cultivated regularly and in organized economical ways. Therefore the name of Faqua’a village was associated with the fruit of Cactus.

هي نبتة صحراوية تنمو في منطقة جبلية تمتاز بشوكها الناعم و الحبة منها تسمى كوز و تنمو في فصل الصيف هي صبار فقوعة.
للصبر نصيب كبير في اهتمام أهل القرية بالزراعة إذ اشتهرت زراعة الصبار الفقوعي محليا وإقليميا بسبب جودة صبرها حتى أصبح علامة تجارية باسم “فقوعي يا صبر ” وبسبب الإقبال الشديد على هذه الفاكه انتقلت زراعتها من مجرد هدف لحماية الأراضي الى هدف اقتصادي حتى أصبحت تزرع في يومنا الحالي بشكل منتظم ومدروس اقتصاديا وارتبط اسم فقوعة بفاكهة الصبر.
