In partnership with Aveda and with the support of the Australian Government/Department of Foreign Relations and Trade, the Kadori Foundation and the Global Environment Facility, the Ma’an Development Action Center was able to establish the Permaculture Center in the village of Beit Qaad located in the Marj Ibn Amer Plain in Jenin at the end of 2012 on 11 acres.
Ma’an Center for Sustainable Agriculture/Permaculture is considered as a station for agricultural experiments and observations, where we seek to test and apply some of the results of applied agricultural research that are compatible with our agricultural environment, and which can be adopted by Palestinian farmers. It also aspires to make this center / station a suitable place for practical agricultural training for farmers, agricultural students and workers in the agricultural sector. The center will be a hub of agricultural extension and guidance, as well as an instrument of transferring some modern techniques and  inexpensive agricultural patterns. In addition to restoring some of the effective traditional agricultural techniques and methods that the Palestinian farmers used in the past.

بالشراكة مع أفيدا وبدعم من الحكومة الاسترالية/ دائرة العلاقات الخارجية والتجارة، مؤسسة كادوري ومرفق البيئة العالمي، تمكن مركز العمل التنموي / معا من إنشاء مركز البيرماكلتشر في قرية بيت قاد الواقعة في سهل مرج ابن عامر في جنين في نهاية عام 2012 على مساحة 11 دونم (11,000 متر مربع).
يعتبر مركز معا للزراعة المستدامة/ البيرماكلتشر  بمثابة محطة تجارب ومشاهدات زراعية، حيث نسعى الى تجربة وتطبيق بعض من نتائج البحوث الزراعية التطبيقية التي تتلاءم وبيئتنا الزراعية، والتي يمكن تبنيها من قبل المزارعين الفلسطينيين. كما نطمح أن يشكل هذا المركز/ المحطة مكانا مناسبا للتدريب الزراعي العملي للمزارعين وللطلبة الزراعيين وللعاملين في القطاع الزراعي. فالمركز سيكون وسيلة فعالة في الإرشاد والتوجيه الزراعي، كما سيكون وسيلة فعالة لنقل بعض التقنيات التكنولوجية والأنماط الزراعية الحديثة وغير المكلفة. اضافة الى استعادة بعض من التقنيات والأساليب الزراعية التقليدية الفعالة التي كان مزارعونا يستخدموها في السابق.
