من الزراعات المميزة في فلسطين هي زراعة القرع في قرية الجلمة إذ تمتاز الزراعة بأن المزارعين حاصلين على شهادة الزراعة الآمنة و الذي يعني العلاج الموضعي للمزروعات أي رش المبيدات المرخصة من وزارة الزراعة الفلسطينية على المنطقة المصابة بالمرض و ليس الدفيئة بالكامل أيضا المحافظة على فترة الأمان قبل القطاف والعلاج اليدوي للمزروعات و ازالة الأعشاب الضارة بدل رشها بالمبيدات الصناعية

Location

Among the crops in Palestine, the cultivation of squash in the village of Al-Jalama is particularly noteworthy. It is distinguished by a regulatory framework for safe cultivation, which entails issuing safety licenses to farmers that apply standards of topical treatment of crops, i.e. spraying pesticides licensed by the Palestinian Ministry of Agriculture on the affected area rather than on the entire crop. Other methods include maintaining a safety period before harvest, manual treatment of crops and weed removal as an alternative to the use of industrial pesticides.
