One of the stories circulating in the village of A’rrana is that during the period of the Crusades (and the subsequent liberation by Salah al-Din al-Ayyubi in the 13th century after the Battle of Hattin), specifically in 1187, many shrines were built in the village of A’rrana to preserve the memory of the heroes, martyrs and fighters who defended it. For example, the shrine of The Sheikh, Sheikh Saleh, Sheikh Saeed and Sheikh Abdullah. These shrines were destroyed and scattered throughout history, but the people of the village were able to preserve and restore one of them: the shrine of Sheikh Abdullah, which is currently located in the center of the village.

من القصص المتداولة في قرية عرانة أنه خلال فترة الغزو الفرنجي وما تلاه من تحرير على يد صلاح الدين الأيوبي في القرن 13 الميلادي بعد معركة حطين و تحديدا عام 1187 تم بناء العديد من المقامات في قرية عرانة  لحفظ ذكرى الأبطال و الشهداء و المقاتلين الذين دافعوا عنها مثل مقام الشيخ و الشيخ صالح و الشيخ سعيد و الشيخ عبد الله. تم تدمير و انثار هذه المقامات عبر التاريخ إلا أن أهل القرية استطاعوا الحفاظ وإعادة ترميم واحد منها وهو مقام الشيخ عبد الله الموجود حاليا في وسط القرية.
