One of the crafts that characterize the people of the town of Zababdeh is the soap industry. The history of this craft goes back thousands of years in Palestine. The people of the town inherited the craft of olive industry from their ancestors because the town of Zababdeh is rich in olive trees.

من الحرف و الصناعات التي يتميز بها أهل بلدة الزبابدة هي صناعة الصابون حيث يعود تاريح هذه الحرفة الى الاف السنين في فلسطين و بذلك يعتمد عدد من المواطنين على صناعة الصابون المحلي من زيت الزيتون وتغليفه وبيعه في أماكن مختلفة في الداخل المحتل و في فلسطين بشكل عام وحتى التصدير للخارج. ورث أهل البلدة حرفة صناعة الزيتون و توارثوها عن أجدادهم لثراء بلدة الزبابدة بشجر الزيتون. للصابون المصنوع من زيت الزيتون العديد من الفوائد مثل معالجة قشرة الشعر و القضاء على الحكة المصاحبة بسبب خصائصه المرطبة. كما يقلل من ظهور الشيب بفضل مضادات الأكسدة التي تضاف اليه فتحارب مظاهر الشيخوخة للشعر و البشرة.
